The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old city and just a few minutes' walk from the Sao Bento railway station. The design of the building, both exterior and interior, was very impressive. My room was light, clean, and incredibly spacious for four people. The en-suite bathroom was also comfortable and spotless. Despite overlooking a busy street, there was no noise when the windows were closed. The breakfast in the morning, though basic, was sufficient with cereals, tea/coffee, toasts. I highly recommend this place.
